CASCADE HEIST: BUS RIVALS / INSTADYN LLC

Data Deletion

How to ask us to delete the data the Cascade Heist: Bus Rivals server holds about you.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Cascade Heist data” and include the following.

A room code of a friend match you created or joined: the six characters after “D-”. More than one code helps. Say whether you created or joined that room. If you remember it, give the name of the friend’s player shown in that match, and roughly when you played.

Please do not send passwords, card details or private documents.

What this page covers

Cascade Heist: Bus Rivals is published by INSTADYN LLC. The game runs on Android, iPhone and the web player, and all three use the same server. This page covers the data that server holds about you. Deletion is done by hand after you email us; there is no delete button in the game yet.

Why we need a room code

The game shows no account ID, and the generated name you play under is not shown on screen, so a room code is the only way we can find your record. If you never played an online friend match, our server holds nothing about you. If you cannot give a room code, we have no way to tell which record is yours.

What we hold

A guest identity: a random guest ID, a generated display name such as “Brave Fox 42”, a sign-in credential kept on the server only as a one-way hash, and account times. A friend room record for each room you created or joined: the code, the two guests, and when the room was created and joined. A match record: the boards, every move and power used, timings, scores and the result. No email address, no device identifier and no advertising ID.

What gets deleted

We delete the guest record and remove your guest ID and generated name from the rooms you played. Match records are then no longer linked to any guest; they never contained a guest ID or a name.

What stays, and why

A room record stays for the other player in it, with your seat shown as “Deleted player”. Match records stay as unlinked game data. If the game is still on your device, its next check-in fails and it quietly signs in as a new guest the next time you open online play.

How long it takes

Requests are handled by hand, so deletion is not instant. We delete within 30 days of your request and reply to confirm when it is done.

Data on your device

Progress, scores, gold, gems, items and settings are kept only on your device. On a phone, clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the game removes them; in the web player, clearing the web player’s data in your browser does. That does not remove the server record described on this page.
